Eldrick Woods or Tiger Woods like most of them call him was born on 30th December 1975 in Cypress, California. Eldrick was the only child of Earl and Kultida Woods. The late Earl Woods was of an Afro American descent while Kultida Woods was a Thai/Chinese descent. This wide mixture of national heritage made Tiger Woods an encouragement to fans of all the races around the whole world. As a child Tiger began playing golf at the age of two and in fact featured as a toddler in magazines and even appeared on television. At the young age of 8, Tiger won his first event at the Junior World Golf championships. And at the age of 15 he became the youngest US Junior Amateur Champion.
In the year 1996, Tiger was recognized as a professional golfer. He then signed a deal with Nike for a $ 40 million and with Titleist for $ 20 Million. Tiger won his first major golf event in the year 1997, by doing so he became the youngest Masters winner ever. In the same year he went on to win three more events at the PGA tour. The year 1997 turned out to be the remarkable year for Tiger Woods as he became the world’s number one in the Official World Golf rankings. So far, Tiger Woods has won three titles at the Masters, two at the UA Open and three at the PGA championships. He has also been awarded with awards such as the Athlete of the Year, Rookie of the Year and the PGA Player of the Year.
Titleist recently released its new 906 F4 fairway wood family, that is available in 13.5, 15.5, and 18.5 lofts. I’ve wanted to give this club a try since I read about it, but only recently did the pro shop get a demo in. Barely teed it up and still this club send the ball soaring high into the sky every time. I was using the 15.5 degree loft. Hitting it off the deck had the same high flying results minus the occasional shanks of course. Taking it out on the front nine proved to make me want to reach for my wallet as every ball (Pro V1s) went high and straight right where I wanted it to, a bit uncanny.
The club is designed with a lower center of gravity that is responsible for the high launch, but it also helps to add more spin. Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Titleist, Steve Pelisek, claims that “The new 906 F4 is the most playable Titleist fairway club yet.” I loved my 975J driver for a long time and as far as Titleist clubs go, this club is quite superior to its predecessors and would be a crucial addition to any golfers bag.
TaylorMade has got out its new offering for the golfers in the form of its TP Red Ball with some innovative features. Superior durability and very durable are the descriptions used for this new ball on the site of TM. The ball is now open for tests for golfers for its quality of spin, and the flight it offers to the players. Manipulation of the shot and better control over the spin of the ball are the advantages players have found with this new golf ball. The TP Red golf ball is quite responsive with the wedges and short games, which is why players find it suitable on the course. The ball, with its improvements will fly and stop where the players want it to and thus, give them ultimate control over the game. The ball is great for touch shots and great shots are guaranteed with the TP Red golf ball.
The TP Red golf ball by TaylorMade is multi-layered and has a big core, which is why the ball delivers the results players have found with it. The core of the ball is made with a material called neodymium, which is a rubber compound. Many would be amazed to see neodymium in golf ball because it is used mainly in the audio industry but the results it delivers are high COR, great ball speed, low in its compression, and low in the driver spin. The ball cover is of urethane, which is termed ultra thin, and yet it is durable. The 322 dimples on the ball make it useful mainly on the ball flight’s back half propelling the ball for more distance.

Pebble Beach Golf Course is one of the most famous golf courses in the whole world. The Pebble Beach Golf course is situated in California along the Coast of Pacific Ocean. This golf course offers some of the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean on just about every hole. This golf course has always been the best site for some of the most prestigious tournaments like the annual Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the occasionally US Open and the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am championships. This is the golf course where Tiger Woods had his 15 shot victory in the US Open. This Golf course is been designed by Douglas Grant and Jack Neville and was initially opened in the year 1919.
The main aim of the designer was to lay as many holes as possible along the coastline of Monterey. The layout of the golf course is extremely difficult and is obviously one of the most challenging courses for all the golfers. The first two holes are in land while the third hole is near the ocean and the fourth & fifth holes are also along the side of the ocean. The 3/7th hole is laid on the downhill with a very short hole and the wind plays a major role at this hole. The bottom line is that even though it is only stretched up to 110 yards the whole often plays 150 to 170 with the wind factor. This is just the illustration of how visually threatening and difficult holes this golf course offers. Whatever may be the reason Pebble Beach Golf Course is well-known status as one of the most spectacular golf courses in the world.

This will enable to build your muscle strength and endurance.

Chinese Liang Wenchong won his first major title of this year by winning the Singapore Masters defeating Iain Steel of Malaysia. During the playoff on Sunday, Liang made par on the first hole of a sudden death to win the title. On the final round of 73, Liang had shot 1 over par while Steel could manage only 1 under 71 to end the tied game at 11 under 277. By winning the title, Laing has earned 1.1 million dollars of prize money which was co-sanctioned by Asian and European Tours. Liang who had finished third at the Philippine Open has four birdies against double bogey and three bogeys while Steel shot four birdies against a double bogey and a bogey for his final round.
After the loss, Steel said that he had not executed his shot well off the tee making him loss maximum points and also the title. Nick Dougherty who was the initial leader leading in the filed made seven birdies and finished two strokes behind with 279, with fellow golfers David Lynn, Anthony Wall and Jean Van de Velde of France finished behind Dougherty. Dougherty was not happy with the result as he considered complaining to the organizers about the golf course which he felt was not consistent. He said that the course in some places was rough and also bit long, which in his words is too obscene and pathetic. Other players who participated in this championship include Peter Lawrie of Ireland, Indian Jyoti Randhwa, Welshman Craig Smith, Lin Keng-Chi of Taiwan and Terry Pilkadaris & Scott Barr of Australia.
